I think that starchy foods like bread potatoes pasta rice are a problem for humans from a variety of reasons not least of which is gut inflammation leading to endotoxin and all of the downstream effects of that
so so these hard to process starchy foods that are advertised for their low glycemic index that's what I would actually avoid
