if you look at the research there's research in lab animals that if you give lab animals mice rats and they're litters not children children if you give them if you give them equi equivalent calorie amounts of sucrose and high fructose corn syrup which should be the same thing right sucrose is a disaccharide of glucose and fructose high fructose corn syrup is glucose and fructose you can give them the same amount of calories of high fructose corn syrup and sucrose and the mats the mats the mice and rats with high fructose corn syrup get fatter significantly fatter
