to suggest that mood and uh theory of the brain and neurochemistry are not related to diet is absurd right i mean psychiatric illness is neuro inflammation until proven otherwise
The evidence is convergent. Multiple independent sources reach the same conclusion, the underlying mechanism is well-characterized, and even the field's most cautious voices treat it as worth doing.

Every Sunday: the week’s new conflicts and verdict changes — and nothing else.
Native comments, Twitter mentions, and Reddit threads about this claim — surfaced together so the conversation isn't fragmented across platforms.
Bookmarking — the dossier-vs-overview split is the right call. Most of the time I want overview; sometimes I want receipts.
Would love a "what would change this verdict" RSS feed. Sign me up if it exists.
but i do believe that for many with depression anxiety psychotic disorders and eating disorders including anorexia bulimia and binge eating disorder that there is a neuroinflammatory component and that should be addressed with a dietary focus an intentional elimination of foods that may be worsening the gut worsening neural inflammation through leaky gut etc that that needs to be a major bent of the treatment
what if that type of diet could improve neural inflammation in the brain and could help these mental health disorders
my belief is that most eating disorders are connected with narrow inflammation right in some ways these are psychiatric disorders and i think that a lot of psychiatric disorders are neuroinflammatory what causes neuroinflammation we could generate a pretty good argument that it's the same stuff that generates gastroenterological inflammation right lectins plant toxins could we remove these things yeah absolutely like processed sugar seed oils yeah
in a lot of people this is related to neuroinflammation and that neuroinflammation like so many other nidus you know nidi niduses of uh inflammation in the human body so many other you know fosi of of inflammation in the human body is related to the foods that we're eating
