this is a very interesting concept that in nature fat and carbs are pretty scarce protein is pretty easy to obtain in nature and people may debate me on that but I think that it's we were talking about this before the podcast a little bit there was a great question asked if you look in nature and I believe that humans run on carbs or fat that's the fuel for the human vehicle it's the protein that's the building blocks and if you look at nature there's a lot of protein you can get a snake you can get a fish you can get a small animal you get a squirrel you get a mouse you can a bird not a lot of carbohydrates in nature not a lot of fat in nature those are the key nutrients that we need and that we've needed evolutionarily to survive as humans and I think that that's why we're programmed to treasure those or to respond to those in a very positive way in our foods
