how lectins do this how oxalates might do this how many foods might do this how many plant foods might do this
The evidence is convergent. Multiple independent sources reach the same conclusion, the underlying mechanism is well-characterized, and even the field's most cautious voices treat it as worth doing.

Every Sunday: the week’s new conflicts and verdict changes — and nothing else.
Native comments, Twitter mentions, and Reddit threads about this claim — surfaced together so the conversation isn't fragmented across platforms.
Bookmarking — the dossier-vs-overview split is the right call. Most of the time I want overview; sometimes I want receipts.
Would love a "what would change this verdict" RSS feed. Sign me up if it exists.
lectins etc this mechanism has been well-documented with gluten and alcohol where that when you pass the gluten fragment or flagman x' fragments of gluten into the gut they have a bit of molecular mimicry and they trigger an immunological reaction in the gut you get Sanyal and released at the level of the gut epithelium and you get what's called the gut
but lectins are proteins that are designed uh thanks to the work of dr fasano from hopkins and now harvard show that these are instrumental in creating leaky gut
there are lectins there are compounds in this plant that are triggering an immune reaction for me and that is something i don't want i don't want to live with a smoldering chronic low level inflammation
for some people not all plants are good because if i'm having eczema my body is having an immune reaction there are lectins there are compounds in this plant that are triggering an immune reaction for me
many plant compounds do have these lectins this is a carbohydrate binding protein they occur in all foods but it appears that many of the lectins present in plant foods are more irritating to the gut and the way this happens is you get some particle in the gut that looks like a bacteria and then you get zonulin which is this protein in the gut wall being released and it's a signal to all these gap junctions in the gut to open
I think that plant foods predominantly vegetables, can contain many defense chemicals like lectins carbohydrate-binding proteins which can be very damaging to the gut.
so i want to talk about what damages the gut uh share some literature that i think supports my concerns for that and then talk about certain conditions and then i will talk about how i think we reverse that and how we can heal our guts and then give ourselves the foundation to become freaking awesome radical humans there are many things that damage the gut i think that plant foods predominantly vegetables can contain many defense chemicals like lectins carbohydrate binding proteins which can be very damaging to the gut
