so that uh in addition to the Galpin equation in terms of amount I Amic recommended a you know roughly 3 to one sodium to potassium recommendation and I gave you some rough numbers for things to like that
The evidence is convergent. Multiple independent sources reach the same conclusion, the underlying mechanism is well-characterized, and even the field's most cautious voices treat it as worth doing.

Every Sunday: the week’s new conflicts and verdict changes — and nothing else.
Native comments, Twitter mentions, and Reddit threads about this claim — surfaced together so the conversation isn't fragmented across platforms.
Bookmarking — the dossier-vs-overview split is the right call. Most of the time I want overview; sometimes I want receipts.
Would love a "what would change this verdict" RSS feed. Sign me up if it exists.
I actually think everyone is better having having a lot of salt and potassium
what I would say with regard is sodium and potassium is balanced them think about how much sodium you're getting think about how much potassium you're getting and you probably want that ratio to be about 1 to 1 or maybe a little more potassium than sodium
it's probably more about the balance between potassium and sodium than it is about any one of those nutrients or minerals in and of itself or by itself
and I think that most people do best when their sodium potassium at least in the ballpark you know oh yeah it's it's almost a one-to-one I would say yeah pretty close anyway yeah
we'd probably want to balance sodium and potassium to some level for sure
I aim for about a four gram potassium 4 gram sodium ratio that 1 to 1 seems to work well for me
But partly, we're not getting enough potassium. Potassium comes from veggies and bananas and fruit and all these things, and you really wanna get enough potassium because the body cares about the sodium-potassium ratio.
