i think the benefits of omega-3s and trials predominantly come because they are imbalancing the omega-6s and a lot of omega-6 problems could be related to the fact that omega-6 and omega-3 share the same synthetic pathways the desaturation elongates enzymes and if you overload your body with omega-6s specifically linoleic acid the polyunsaturated omega-6 18 carbon fat prevalent in seed oils you will inhibit the production of omega-3s in your body

I think that when you give omega-3 to people it may benefit them because it's giving them something they can't make because most of the population is full of omega-6s
