About 1 gram per pound of goal body weight, per day.
The evidence is convergent. Multiple independent sources reach the same conclusion, the underlying mechanism is well-characterized, and even the field's most cautious voices treat it as worth doing.

i think an animal-based diet might be thought of as one gram of protein per pound of body weight or goal body weight if you're trying to lose weight this is a lot more protein than most people are eating but i think it's an ideal space for most humans who are looking to thrive and build muscle
i recommend that people try and get one gram of protein per pound of body weight per day
the Baseline there is one gram of protein per pound of lean body weight or go body weight and one pound of meat contains about 100 gram of protein again this is bioavailable protein significantly more bioavailable than plant proteins so if you are 150 PB I probably would recommend about 150 grams of protein per day
The goal in terms of protein on an animal based diet is one gram of protein per pound of goal body weight.
I would say about a gram per pound of body weight or go body weight
and the reality is i think the rda is predicated on how much protein you need to like live versus how much protein you need to thrive and so i think when you look at those data you realize it's probably closer to two grams per kilogram or about a gram per pound of body weight
i think when you look at those data you realize it's probably closer to two grams per kilogram or about a gram per pound of body weight
