it's failed in trials of non-alcoholic fatty liver disease it's failed in trials of metabolic syndrome in fact in metabolic syndrome trials it actually worsened dis glycaemia
We can't find evidence that holds up here. Proponents are reasoning from mechanism or analogy rather than direct human data, and the most credible skeptics raise objections we can't dismiss.

Every Sunday: the week’s new conflicts and verdict changes — and nothing else.
Native comments, Twitter mentions, and Reddit threads about this claim — surfaced together so the conversation isn't fragmented across platforms.
Bookmarking — the dossier-vs-overview split is the right call. Most of the time I want overview; sometimes I want receipts.

there have been a few trials with resveratrol in humans that didn't come out so that right on don't be gentle metabolic syndrome you know this there was a trial of metabolic syndrome there was a trial in prostate cancer that and it I mean resveratrol kind of and there was a trial in Nashville D where resveratrol wasn't really that helpful in fact in the there was a trial in prostate cancer in humans where resveratrol was found to worsen androgen precursors and resveratrol is one of this family of molecules that looks a lot like estrogens and so some of the concern that I have around resveratrol is that it is acting as an endocrine disruptor and it this this is suggested by this prostate cancer trial in which it decreased androgen precursors
resveratrol also messes with our hormonal precursors right it lowers the HPA it's been shown to worsen metabolic syndrome and some people and cause dis glycemia
so resveratrol though it can activate the sirtuin genes has also been shown to decrease androgen precursors and has failed multiple clinical trials
there have been a few trials with resveratrol in humans that didn't come out so good right on oh don't be gentle metabolic syndrome you know this there was a trial in metabolic syndrome there was a trial in prostate cancer that and it i mean resveratrol kind of and there was a trial in nafld where resveratrol wasn't really that helpful
and then some of the other trials like i said it actually worsened glycemic control in a few trials in patients with metabolic syndrome
