what I have seen and myself many carnivores many people on ketogenic diets is that the LDL number so the low-density lipoprotein number goes pretty high when people do ketogenic diets and I actually really like what you just said that our bodies have had you know millions of years of evolution and prior to our hominid evolution these systems have been in place they've been conserved through evolution so we're talking potentially billions of years of evolution of these enzymatic systems in the body by which we are making we and our pre hominid ancestors and even pre humanoid people you know or not even people but pre human organisms are making the cholesterol molecule through enzymes like HMG co-reductase which is what statins inhibit and then as we talked about when you inhibit HMG co-reductase your body cannot make coins on q10 which is down stream from cholesterol and then you get a deficiency in that in the membrane but one of the interesting phenomena that I see it's not on everyone so there's probably a genetic thing going on here but in the majority of clients that I work with the majority of patients I work with on ketogenic diets and carnivorous sites the LDL number goes really high and people get worried because they go to their doctor and the doctor says you need to be on a statin
