The key is to find real Tongat and to not expect large T increases yet have seen lowered SHBG & “vitality”.
The evidence is convergent. Multiple independent sources reach the same conclusion, the underlying mechanism is well-characterized, and even the field's most cautious voices treat it as worth doing.

Every Sunday: the week’s new conflicts and verdict changes — and nothing else.
Native comments, Twitter mentions, and Reddit threads about this claim — surfaced together so the conversation isn't fragmented across platforms.
Bookmarking — the dossier-vs-overview split is the right call. Most of the time I want overview; sometimes I want receipts.

and free testosterone from Tongat. Women & men, Tongat.
and there is some decent scientific literature to support the fact that it liberates some of the bound testosterone and allows more free testosterone to be available, some of the reported quote-unquote side effects are things like excessive alertness and insomnia if it's taken too late in the day and so forth, but I encourage you to explore that further if that's, if increasing free testosterone is something that you're interested in doing.
This has been shown in several studies, and you can find these on examine.com, or you can go to PubMed if you like, I've looked at these, that it does seem to have some pro-fertility, pro-free testosterone, and subtle aphrodisiac effects, it does also seem to be a slight anti-estrogen, so the reports of this are, people take this anywhere from 400 to 800 milligrams a day, again, I'm not suggesting you do that, but that's kind of what's out there, and there is some decent scientific literature to support the fact that it liberates some of the bound testosterone and allows more free testosterone to be available, some of the reported quote-unquote side effects are things like excessive alertness and insomnia if it's taken too late in the day and so forth, but I encourage you to explore that further if that's, if increasing free testosterone is something that you're interested in doing.
One particular article, last author, or I should say last name of first author, excuse me, Ismail, I-S-M-A-I-L. This was published in Evidence-Based Complementary and Alternative Medicine, it's from 2012. Reports a significant increase in libido and sexual function.
And there's some evidence that Tongkat Ali can increase the amount of unbound so-called free testosterone by lowering sex hormone binding globulin, although it is almost certain that it has other routes of mechanism as well.
But 400 milligrams a day of tongkat ali has been shown to increase free testosterone by way of reducing something called sex hormone binding globulin. It's also been shown to increase luteinizing hormone, the net effect of which has been described as a subtle but significant increase in libido and some of the other parameters associated with increased androgens, like free testosterone in males and females.

So a number of people out there are taking tongkat ali in this way-- 400 milligrams per day, restricted to the early part of the day, with or without food. People always ask, do you need to cycle tongkat ali? I'm not aware of any need to cycle tongkat ali. In fact, it tends to work better, meaning the effects on libido and some other hormone profiles tend to increase over time.
There are supplements in particular Tonga Ali which is has this other name it's sometime called tongat Ali sometimes it's called and the forgive me that it's hard to pronounce but uroma uh longifolia Jack this has been shown in several studies and you can find these on exam.com or you can go to PubMed if you like I've looked at these that it does seem to have some pro- fertility Pro free testosterone and subtle aphrodesiac effects it does also seem to be a slight anti-estrogen
So, testosterone has a both bound form and an unbound form. Very briefly, the bound form is bound to albumin in the blood or to so-called sex hormone binding globbulin. Uh when it's bound, it can't be biologically active at many cells. Uh it is important that some of it be bound in order to get a sort of time release and and proper distribution of testosterone through the body, but is the unbound free testosterone that can really have its most potent effects. And there's some evidence that Tonga Ali can increase the amount of unbound so-called free testosterone by lowering sex hormone binding globbulin although it is almost certain that it has other routes of mechanism as well.
