and then you can reduce the um rate of decline by about half up to certainly up to your 70s probably
but even if they drop off 10% per decade they start at a much higher Baseline so if if your Baseline is 60 versus 35 and you lose 10% per decade you're still going to be way way way ahead way ahead and and at age 60 or 70 you're going to have a V2 max value higher higher than um uh you know 30-y old
the reason we push so hard Mike for our patients to have as high a V2 Max possible as as as possible when they're in their 40s or 50s is based on this inevitability of Decline and with the hopes that we're extending Life by a decade
this number is going down at about 8 to 10% per decade depending on your your training volume
