So if you have cancer or a high cancer risk, you probably don't want to be taking a medication that's the exact opposite mechanism of action as your essential anti-cancer med.
if you have a tumor and tumors thrive on increased blood flow because they like to consume growth factors and increased blood flow means increased growth factors and other things that can not just sustain but actually grow the tumor well then by taking bpc 157 you may be either maintaining or accelerating the growth of a tumor
then by taking bpc 157 you may be either maintaining or accelerating the growth of a tumor that would otherwise be removed or stay small in other words bpc157 is a potential tumor growth risk
so if you have knowledge of a given cancer or you're concerned about tumors at all I would encourage you to be very cautious about the use of bpc157
know the risks associated with bpc-157 it's uncertain risk about acceleration of tumor growth but the mechanistic logic is just as strong for that with bpc-157 as it is for bpc157 encouraging vascularization of any other tissue muscle tendon ligament or skin for that matter
I worry about BPC 157 because, in my experience, it is effective at treating minor injuries and things like that. But people now just take it continuously. And it increases angiogenesis, the growth of capillaries and vessels and things like that. And if you have a tumor, you do not want to increase angiogenesis to the tumor.
In other words, if you have cancer or you're at risk of cancer, avoid BPC57.
Both of these peptides affect angioenesis, which is the formation of new blood vessels, by affecting VEGF, which is a signaling molecule that is a vascular endothelial growth factor.
The concern with both BPC-157 and TB500 in long-term use is that you could potentially increase the amount of angioenesis happening at baseline in your body and promote cancer growth.
These can be helpful for acute bouts of recovery, but we don't know what the cancer risk of these is long-term. And TB-500 definitely in animal models can reactivate dormant cancers.
But I do think a lot of people use it proactively far too often for something that is directly intertwined with increasing I think it's veg f and is like super correlated with cancer growth. Like to me that would freak me out. people who are using it like preventatively. A lot of athletes use it as a preventative measure to avoid injury or rehabil rehabilitation when it's not necessary and I think that's overkill and risky as hell personally.
So that is a concern with BPC for sure cuz I see some and does it need to be injected locally for it to have maximum efficacy.
