something like 0.09 is about cortisol to DHEA DHEA to cortisol ratio yeah DHEA to cortisol I'd love to tell you I said it backwards on purpose just to make sure everyone understood but I got it backwards yeah
The evidence is convergent. Multiple independent sources reach the same conclusion, the underlying mechanism is well-characterized, and even the field's most cautious voices treat it as worth doing.

Every Sunday: the week’s new conflicts and verdict changes — and nothing else.
Native comments, Twitter mentions, and Reddit threads about this claim — surfaced together so the conversation isn't fragmented across platforms.
Bookmarking — the dossier-vs-overview split is the right call. Most of the time I want overview; sometimes I want receipts.
Would love a "what would change this verdict" RSS feed. Sign me up if it exists.
I wish more people did this free testosterone to cortisol ratio on their blood work you probably have to do it a couple of different times per day
you want it to be basically that ratio in blood needs to be no more than 10 to 1 in favor of cortisol
if you do several tests let's say over a couple weeks and the horizontal DHA sulfate ratio is higher than 10 chances are you overstressing yourself
basically they you know the I can send you a few studies uh you know I think they measured they use they use the US and the Western Europe metric which was in the nanograms per deciliter and they divided quarter to DHEA or quarters of the DHA sulfate is another good measure probably better because the DHA sofa is a more of a longer term indicator of how much DHA you're producing uh and I think that ratio was was about the same basically it should not be more than 0.5 um we're uh the test that we're doing with my group in Bulgaria with the nail and hair shows this very well because it's a long-term measurement but if you're doing blood tests I will do maybe like uh uh every two weeks for maybe like a month or two and then average the results out and see how they are
is that like would you do just people can do that um is that would you do like a morning fasted cortisol and a morning DHEA at the same time how would you measure those to make that ratio
but maybe the cortisol for DHEA ratio if you will I mean that's an interesting predictor of overall stress I think more people should do that morbidity
what do you want this ratio to be less than 0.3
and you want to minimize that you know you want that ratio to be as low as possible less than three perhaps and because you want your androgens this dheas is a Androgen precursor in the human body you want your sort of sex hormones for both men and women these androgens for both men and women to be high and you want your quars all to be low and that's pretty cut and dry it's like black and white
Um is that like would you do just so people can do that? Um, is that a would you do like a morning fasted cortisol and a morning DHEA at the same time? How would you measure those to make that ratio? I'm thinking about my blood work.
