Obviously, the best thing to do is to decrease your exposure in the first place. Get rid of your plastic water bottle and don't drink tea in plastic cups or any hot liquids in plastic cups.
Reduce use of plastic bottles, food packaging, and single-use plastics.
I would credit avoidance most; it’s the first step we should all take.
