We: + Combed through the science on healthspan and lifespan + Found the power laws, aka the science responsible for >80% of the benefits
The headline is broadly defensible, but the qualifications matter. Effect sizes vary by population, the strongest claims rest on shorter trials, and credible voices push back on how it's typically framed.
We: + Combed through the science on healthspan and lifespan + Found the power laws, aka the science responsible for >80% of the benefits
Every Sunday: the week’s new conflicts and verdict changes — and nothing else.
Native comments, Twitter mentions, and Reddit threads about this claim — surfaced together so the conversation isn't fragmented across platforms.
Bookmarking — the dossier-vs-overview split is the right call. Most of the time I want overview; sometimes I want receipts.
Would love a "what would change this verdict" RSS feed. Sign me up if it exists.
we've combed through all the literature on lifespan healthspan extension so we really don't know what people are going to do with it
what we did at blueprint is we combed through all the scientific literature and we tried to find the best evidence for health span lifespan increase and then we applied those power laws but we were extremely rigorous about the scientific analysis looking at the the uh the data and then looking at effect size and we don't do any of these things
