Calorie restriction (2-2250) + ideal protein (1.6 g/kg) producing 99% outlier results
The evidence is convergent. Multiple independent sources reach the same conclusion, the underlying mechanism is well-characterized, and even the field's most cautious voices treat it as worth doing.
Calorie restriction (2-2250) + ideal protein (1.6 g/kg) producing 99% outlier results
Every Sunday: the week’s new conflicts and verdict changes — and nothing else.
Native comments, Twitter mentions, and Reddit threads about this claim — surfaced together so the conversation isn't fragmented across platforms.
Bookmarking — the dossier-vs-overview split is the right call. Most of the time I want overview; sometimes I want receipts.

My protein intake is 120 grams daily and I am top 1% in muscle mass and optimal fat (~10%).
Protein: 130 grams (~25%)
I consume 130g of protein daily from flax, pea, hemp, legumes (lentils, peas, beans), vegetables, collagen peptides, nuts and seeds.
My daily macros: 2250 calories Protein: 130 grams (~25%) Carbs: 206 grams (~35%) Fat: 101 grams (~40%)

+ 130 grams of protein a day
I consume 130 grams a day of protein from sources such as legumes, hemp, pea, fava bean, and collagen peptides.
so I do6 gram of protein a day thereabouts my my body fat and muscle are in the top 99 five percentile using uh gold standard MRI scan it's an so I do an hour of exercise each day I try to flex and stretch every muscle of my body and it's been very stable we've been at that muscle mass and fat for the past couple years
my daily caloric intake is 2250 calories which is made up of 25% protein 35% carbs and 40% fat note that I am plant-based by choice excluding the collagen peptides
So, I I get um 130 grams a day of protein. And so, I get 26 grams from longevity protein, 30 from collagen peptides, 25 grams from like a super veggie like dish that has lentils, broccoli, cauliflower, hemp seeds, and then another 27 grams from metabolic protein. And then a third meal the day uh you know some kind of legumes, berries, nuts, seeds that has 20 to 25 grams which equals 130 grams.
My daily protein target is 1.6 g per kilogram or.74 g per pound. That means for me, I target 130 g of protein every day. It's important that you have the right amount of protein. It's essential for keeping the muscle you have and building the muscle you wish you had.
+ caloric restricted (2250) + plant based (excluding collagen peptides) + 130 grams of protein a day
