minimal blue light close to bed time
The evidence is convergent. Multiple independent sources reach the same conclusion, the underlying mechanism is well-characterized, and even the field's most cautious voices treat it as worth doing.
minimal blue light close to bed time
Every Sunday: the week’s new conflicts and verdict changes — and nothing else.
Native comments, Twitter mentions, and Reddit threads about this claim — surfaced together so the conversation isn't fragmented across platforms.
Bookmarking — the dossier-vs-overview split is the right call. Most of the time I want overview; sometimes I want receipts.
Would love a "what would change this verdict" RSS feed. Sign me up if it exists.
another thing is of course relax. I mean, don't work right up until the time you're going to bed. Take some time to do something relaxing.
no blue light after sunset tonight
Avoid blue light before bed - an hour or two before bed, try to avoid blue light. That means off screens (or eliminate blue light from your screens, there are apps and settings to do this on computer and mobile devices). Instead, turn on red and amber lights. Light can significantly affect your readiness to fall asleep.
Limiting blue light at night is so important for optimal circadian rhythm and sleep…
I take the blue light and the brightness off my phone to protect my circadian rhythm
I think this is helpful at night as the Sun is setting as blue light is leaving your environment I put a bunch of red lights around my house because I want to protect my circadian rhythms I want my body to know that it's time to go to sleep and I don't want to be looking at a phone that is projecting a bunch of blue light into my eyes
try to help the Circadian rhythm get kind of sorted I try not to have blue light after dark I avoid looking at my computer and my phone or I put them on the red light settings as much as I can in the evening and before I go to sleep I try to calm down and not look at devices and not not stimulate my brain and stuff

Yeah, I would say three to four hours is the time to start thinking about your light saturation exposure, certainly in the last hour before bed.
