I think one study with obese type 2 diabetic people found that if you restrict the methionine intake per day to be no more than two milligrams per kilogram body weight which lets say for somebody weighs that's 200 pounds that's about 200 milligrams per you know per day that's a really tiny amount but it was sufficient to cover the requirements for methionine and resulted in in reversal of the Obesity and they also noticed that the subjects arrested metabolic rate increased
