Project Baby Face is underway to restore facial fat volume loss from caloric restriction.
The evidence is convergent. Multiple independent sources reach the same conclusion, the underlying mechanism is well-characterized, and even the field's most cautious voices treat it as worth doing.
Project Baby Face is underway to restore facial fat volume loss from caloric restriction.
Every Sunday: the week’s new conflicts and verdict changes — and nothing else.
Native comments, Twitter mentions, and Reddit threads about this claim — surfaced together so the conversation isn't fragmented across platforms.
Bookmarking — the dossier-vs-overview split is the right call. Most of the time I want overview; sometimes I want receipts.

Reduced caloric intake 2,150 from 2,250
Increased daily caloric intake to 2250 calories, up from 2000. Goal: increase facial fat.
I did an alligraphed uh fat transfer and so what I did is I took a donor uh because I don't have any fat on my body to inject on myself otherwise I and so I injected at my face and my face is swollen from that
So, I'm on caloric restriction. So, I eat 2,000 calories a day and that has caused me to be pretty lean. So, uh I'm Yeah. So, some facial volume and there's two ways to restore I guess not two ways to restore facial volume.
today we are at one of our partners clinics working on Project Babyface I've been trying to restore volume to my face from my caloric restriction diet we're going to use a fat transfer
Next is we decided to increase my daily caloric intake going from 1,950 to 2,250. And we were probing, can we increase my calories while also maintaining the same biomarkers and also putting on more fat. It worked. I gained 15 lbs, just under 7 kg, and that helped revolmize my face.
And so my caloric intake was 1,950 calories, substantially less. This caused me to lose a lot of fat including in my face.
