raw milk also contains over 700 species of commensal bacteria in the actual raw milk fluids
The evidence is convergent. Multiple independent sources reach the same conclusion, the underlying mechanism is well-characterized, and even the field's most cautious voices treat it as worth doing.

Every Sunday: the week’s new conflicts and verdict changes — and nothing else.
Native comments, Twitter mentions, and Reddit threads about this claim — surfaced together so the conversation isn't fragmented across platforms.
Bookmarking — the dossier-vs-overview split is the right call. Most of the time I want overview; sometimes I want receipts.

raw milk contains over 700 species of bacteria that are commensal that can help shape the human gut
There are over 700 species of commensal bacteria that are also present in raw milk how many are in pasturized milk zero and that allows pasteurized milk to become a breeding ground for pathogens if those pathogens survive the pasteurization process or if that pasteurized milk becomes contaminated
Milk actually contains hundreds of thousands, probably billions, if not trillions of organisms from the cow. When a breastfeeding mother nurses her child that is not sterile, all of the skin flora goes into the milk and all of that skin flora is commensal. It's good for you. It's what's naturally in milk. It's what's in human breast milk and it's what's in all mamalian milks.
